1. The Style

Consider the style of your wedding dress, hair, venue. Is it a boho feel, therefore, use bronze soft tones, glamorous, vintage and so on. These elements will shape your Bridal look.

2. Reference images

Use reference images that have similar features and colourings to you. The look you love on an alabaster bride will not translate on you if you have a deep honey skin tone. Look at the recurring themes that you see on your Pinterest board and identify the key features you love about the look.

3. The season

Consider the time of year the wedding is, the season can inspire and influence your makeup. The autumnal colours of rich rust and copper tones, for winter a berry, burgundy, pewter. For spring fresh soft pinks, salmon, oyster and summer corals, peach and gold.

4. Book a makeup artist

Hire a makeup artist who will work with you to craft a look with a skilful eye and hand. They will confidently assist in choosing colours and create a look that brings out your best features.

5. Still stuck

If you are unsure opt for a classic Bridal look with an even, smooth skin tone, soft colours that naturally occur in your skin tone to enhance your eyes, facial structure and lips. The final result will not look overly made up.
